Now that you have a solid 1st draft of your short story, your homework is to now
assess your story using the rubric you have been given.
You must honestly read and evaluate your story based on the criteria established on the rubric:
1) What areas need development - be specific
2) What areas are you advanced - be specific
3) Hi-light the areas where you believe you meet the standards
OBVIOUSLY, YOU CAN REWRITE TO WORK ON YOUR AREAS THAT
NEED DEVELOPMENT BEFORE YOU TURN IN
1) YOUR STORY HARD COPY
2 WITH THE RUBRIC HARD COPY
